The "Get Tired!" Classes

Sean Nudaue

Based on a program originally designed for a handful of gentlemen preparing to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro, Get Tired! is a new twist on an old method.

For decades, athletes have been dragging tires to increase strength, stamina, cardiovascular fitness, and balance. Historically, the tire was pulled by tying a rope around the waist or by way of shoulder straps worn by the exerciser.

But by utilizing custom equipment, various handles and attachments, Get Tired! incorporates traditional gym exercises like the bench press, lateral shoulder raises, bicep curls, triceps extensions, fly’s, one-arm rows and many, many more.

Lance and Tire

The value of Get Tired! is the way the body is worked as a unit, rather than a series of single muscles or muscle groups. This develops functional strength by forcing the body to strengthen from the inside out. A true core workout, which also greatly benefits the cardiovascular system due to the comprehensive manner in which it works all muscle groups together.

These intense 30-minute workouts are tailored to each participant’s ability and are performed on blacktop or concrete in classes of up to 8 individuals at a time.

Because of the remarkable and unique way this workout strengthens the body’s core, it’s the perfect fitness foundation for anyone who wants to burn fat, increase speed, strength & balance, fight back against diabetes, or climb Mt. Kilimanjaro.
